Our community participation project will involve four key stages:
Nominating
We are asking you, our customers, to nominate a good cause that you think we can help – we are open to any suggestions but a few ideas might include:
- Painting
- Helping with fundraising
- Gardening
- Litter clearing
- Acting as a collection point
- Organising your event
- Offering business expertise
Voting
Once we have received a number of nominations we will ask our branch team to choose three causes that they think they are capable of doing and then we will again ask you, our customers, to vote for your preferred project. You will be able to vote in branch or online.
Preparation
Our branch team will work with the community group to enlist extra support, requesting both volunteers and donations to make the project as successful and beneficial as possible.
Participation
The event day will prove to be a fun-filled, entertaining day with refreshments included in return for a lot of hard-work for a great cause!

The first four branches to be involved in this project are Alvaston, Ashbourne, Clay Cross and Sheffield. The next phase of branches will be chosen in June – if you think you have a good project, register your interest with the branch now and help their case to be in the next phase!
