Part Time and Flexible Contracts

For roles in our retail branch network, call centre and administration teams, we offer part time hours and flexible contracts to help you juggle the demands of your job and life. And we're also flexible about changing your hours as your life changes - its all about finding win-win solutions at The Derbyshire.

Family Friendly

For those with family commitments, our family friendly policies help cope with life's emergencies. With up to five extra days leave a year, you'll not be stranded when the childminder lets you down or your little ones become ill. We also understand that caring for elderly parents is also a responsibility that many of our colleagues have, so our family friendly policies apply to them too.

Childcare

Our childcare voucher scheme helps with the costs of nursery and after school care. Provided through Leapfrog, colleagues can buy childcare vouchers accepted at a wide range of nurseries. Because the costs are deducted from your pay, you pay less national insurance overall, thereby making a cost saving. For most colleagues, these equates to £500 a year - so it's a benefit worth having.
