The key to working in our branch network is to create and maintain excellent communication with our customers. You'll be working as part of a team all focused on helping our customers find the right product for their needs.

You'll need to be results driven and feel comfortable hitting sales targets. We'll provide the training and you'll provide the drive and determination to succeed.

Retail Assistant

Working on the branch counter, you’ll serve our customers, listen to their queries and find solutions. You will interest customers in new products and refer them to other sales colleagues. You will need to show initiative and take responsibility for attaining targeted sales levels as well as being a team player.

Customer Interviewer

With excellent communication skills, your role will be to provide customers with information about The Derbyshire’s products and services. This role is ideal for those wanting to develop a career in sales and willingness to study towards CEMAP qualifications is highly desirable.

Customer Advisor

Working as part of our branch sales team, you’ll meet with customers to discuss their home loan requirements and offer them deals from our award winning range of mortgages. A skilled communicator, you will listen actively and identify other customer needs for insurance, protection or investment advice and refer customers to other sales colleagues. You will need to show initiative and take responsibility for attaining targeted sales levels. You’ll already be an experienced interviewer with CEMAP 3 or be working towards this.

Assistant Retail Manager

Supporting the Retail Manager, you’ll play a key role in motivating and coaching the branch team to achieve sales and customer service targets. Confident with customers, you’ll be expected to advise them on suitable products and services as well as ensuring the smooth running of the branch.

Retail Manager

A professional sales person, you’ll inspire and lead your team to meet and beat sales and customer service targets. With experience in financial services, you’ll have the skills and confidence to run your own branch and develop the business opportunities in your local area.

Retail Sales Manager

With an impressive track record gained in financial services, you’ll have a key role in driving forward our retail sales strategy. Through your communication and leadership skills, you’ll motivate and develop sales performance in your nominated branches. Field-based, your time will be spent observing, coaching and managing the retail teams in your area.

Branch Support Team

This role is ideal for those who thrive on variety and challenge. With a roving brief, you’ll provide cover and training to branch teams in a sales area. Flexibility of attitude and location are key to succeeding in this role.
