Grimsby is a seaport on the Humber Estuary in Lincolnshire. According to legend, the town was founded by Grim, a Danish fisherman and is physically linked to the adjoining seaside resort of Cleethorpes. The sea fishing industry gave the town its wealth. At its peak in the 1950s, Grimsby was the largest and busiest fishing port in the world.
