It's good to get into the habit of saving and it's even better to start when you are young. This savings account, available to young people aged 0 to 19 is a unique account that offers you an attractive rate of interest.
Parents can open this account for their children as soon as they are born from as little as £1 and add money or take money out whenever you like.

Savers under 7 years old
The account can be opened in trust for the child and managed using a passbook.

You can manage your own account using your passbook, which you will need to bring into the branch with you each time you want to pay money in or take money out.

You can have a YS Advance cash card which will give you 24-hour access to your money. Or, if you prefer, you can have a passbook instead.
